There was once a time when writing a book seemed like a faraway dream. It felt daunting and scary and completely unachievable.

In 2018, Headspace changed that. It was the book that taught me to write books, the book that made me believe in myself, and the book that convinced me to keep going.

When the pandemic hit, I realized there was a hidden opportunity within the chaos, and in between working from home, teaching my children, and trying to make it through, I wrote.

In the summer of 2020, Master of the Arena was born.

2021 saw the first draft of Love, Death, and Everything Else I’m Bad at.

In 2022, came Orb Hunters.

And later this year I will be releasing my first nonfiction, The Write Fast System, to share my knowledge and experience on plotting and writing a first draft in six weeks or less.

Writing a book every year has been one of the most challenging things I’ve done in my life, but it also showed me that with practice and determination, even a daunting goal is reachable. I connected with fans, met fellow writers, signed my first publishing contract, and even got to see my book sit near the top of the Hot New Releases list.

Like any author starting out, I have a long way to go and many ideas ahead of me.
